What the Grafton Press has to say about Amelie Restaurant
We are delighted that the opening of Amélie has been announced by The Grafton Centre in the spring issue of their magazine The Grafton Press and highlights our exiting contemporary new food concept Amélie.
- Amélie will be the first restaurant in the UK dedicated to serving Flammekueches – a dish that dates back to the 14th century and originates from a region in the east of France, Alsace, close to the German border.
- Cooked quickly in a very hot oven with quality, fresh ingredients, Flammekueche is made with light, fresh dough and crème fraîche. It is then finished with a range of delicious toppings. It’s great either as savoury or sweet and Amelie will be serving a selection of both – yum!
- It’s going to be an eye-catching addition to the Grafton centre of Cambridge. The family-friendly restaurant will feature a bright yellow converted Citroen H van where the bar will be located.
The Grafton Centre has recently undergone a huge revamp and is now back and booming better than ever in the centre of Cambridge attracting new shops, offices and tourists. Amélie will be one of 8 establishments in the Grafton Centre that will be opening in the brand-new Food Social, introducing an exciting new taste to the City as well as offering a perfect eating option for today’s busy lifestyle. .
