Meat Ball Month with Grub Club Cambridge

Meat Ball Month with Grub Club Cambridge

A great networking evening we had! It was on Tuesday 12th November, organised by The Grub Club Cambridge with speakers John Farrand of the Guild of Fine Food, Chris Mann of @BBCCambs and record-breaking polar Adventurer, and charity CEO of @MuscleWarrior Michael McGrath.

We had a ball with @GrubClubCambs launching a Flamkuche for #meatballmonth in support of the Muscle Help Foundation.

Meatball Month is designed to raise awareness of muscular dystrophy, a disease that currently has no cure. The average lifespan of someone with the most severe form of muscular dystrophy (called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy or DMD) is circa mid to late twenties, making the need to realise a child’s Muscle Dream all the more compelling – providing a life-changing experience for the beneficiary and a lasting memory for all the family to reflect upon during darker times.

We had a fantastic evening at Amelie Restaurant, testing lovely wines from NethergateWines and eating delicious beef, chicken and vegetarian meatball Flam-kuches, freshly prepared by chef @RegisCrepy

Our meatball Flam-kuche is a special for November, from each sale £1 goes to @musclewarrior – please pop by and help this charity realise a kid’s dream!
